Terms of Service

By accessing or using Vessel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice within the application. Your continued use of Vessel after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Vessel is an interactive narrative roleplay service. Stories are driven by artificial intelligence and shaped by your choices. The service includes a free tier with limited daily turns and a premium subscription that unlocks unlimited play, additional story content, and Chronicle features.

Vessel is a work of interactive fiction. All characters, events, factions, and worlds depicted are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual events is coincidental.

To use Vessel, you must create an account using a valid email address. You represent that you are at least 13 years old (or such higher age as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each person may maintain only one active account. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will terminate the account and delete associated data.

Vessel offers the following subscription plans:

• ·Free — access to all Age of Men journeys with a daily turn limit.
• ·Monthly Premium — $19.99 per month. Unlimited turns, chronicle access, hidden endings, and premium story paths.
• ·Annual Premium — $159.99 per year (equivalent to two months free). Same benefits as monthly.

Payments are processed by Polar. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected interval. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current rate at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. If we change the price of your subscription, we will notify you in advance of the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings page in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing cycle. This refund policy does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

You agree not to:

• ·Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the AI system prompts, internal game logic, or story generation mechanisms.
• ·Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service.
• ·Submit inputs designed to produce harmful, illegal, or abusive content through the AI story system.
• ·Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.
• ·Interfere with the operation of the service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to its infrastructure.

By submitting gameplay inputs to Vessel, you grant Muni Software a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and transmit your inputs solely as necessary to operate the service, including transmitting them to AI providers for story generation. This license terminates when you delete your account.

Story content in Vessel is procedurally generated by artificial intelligence based on your choices and the narrative context. As such:

• ·Content may include themes of conflict, moral ambiguity, political intrigue, and other mature narrative elements consistent with the RPG genre.
• ·AI-generated text is not guaranteed to be factually accurate, consistent, or free of errors.
• ·Vessel does not endorse, recommend, or assert as fact any statement made by AI-generated characters or narration.
• ·Story outcomes are influenced by your choices but are ultimately determined by the AI system and game mechanics.

The Vessel service, including its code, design, journey content, character writing, artwork, and game mechanics, is the intellectual property of Muni Software. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without written permission.

Muni Software makes no claim of ownership over story content generated during your play sessions. The copyright status of AI-generated content is subject to evolving law and may vary by jurisdiction.

Vessel is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet any particular standard of quality.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muni Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim or twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

Muni Software will not be liable for service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure providers, internet connectivity issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.

For non-urgent violations of these terms, we will attempt to provide reasonable notice before suspending your account. For violations involving safety, illegal activity, or service integrity, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice or refund.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all associated data, including game history and Chronicle entries, within 30 days.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice before either party pursues formal legal action.
